Maddie – Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation
Maddie has been practicing yoga and meditation for over a decade and has taught for a number of years. She teaches these practices in a wide context, a women’s group for refugees, work for the Saint Giles trust who offer support to people who find them selves homeless or involved with gangs, as well as a great deal of work in the corporate world. She has taught classes for Google, Facebook, Ebay and other well known corporations. Her yoga teaching has taken her to top London yoga studios, wellbeing centres and gyms.
She specialises in beginners yoga and meditation, meditation for stress and anxiety, and meditation for mindfulness and wellbeing. Her yoga teaching ranges from gentle stress relief, to more dynamic classes to make you feel like you’ve had a work out.
Maddie trained with Rinzai Zen Master Julian Daizan Skinner and her teachings are grounded in Buddhist philosophy and psychology, she teaches from a secular position incorporating the modern mindfulness movement as started by Jon Kabat Zinn. Maddie’s classes offer health, wellbeing and peace of mind to all.
